This work confronts the tension between autonomy and manipulation. It raises questions about who truly governs our decisions: do they emerge from inner freedom, or are they pre-programmed by family, society, and unseen structures of power?

The painting reflects on the fragility of perception — the possibility that even our “third eye,” the symbol of higher consciousness, can be subject to influence and distortion. Are we perceiving reality as it is, or only as it has been constructed for us?

“Kontroll” challenges the viewer to consider collective consciousness not as a neutral space, but as a contested field where truth can be hidden, reshaped, or manipulated. In this uncertainty, the work invites us to reclaim authorship of our own vision, and to ask: what is real, and who decides?
